I can get a Surefire E2 (incan) for $96, or a 6P LED for $89.
It makes me wonder who would go for the E2 incan?
6p has longer run time. but I need an E2 since I have a KL1 head to install on something.

reason I ask- I have an E2 satin grey and bought an LED KL1 head, but after a while, decided they dont' match (satin body with HA head).
so I'm in the market for another E2 (HA) so I can use it for the KL1

Any advice?

Ohh, you will be surprised, many here still love the incans over LEDs.
Shop around in the MP. You can get E-series heads, bodies & TCs for lesser $$$. Either buy, sell, or trade stuff that you may need to.
There are the newer heads too KX1 & KX2, brighter & longer runtimes.

Oh btw, isn't the KL1 for single cells only?

Nope, I have used my KL1 on an e2e. They were made for both the e1e and e2e unlike the KX heads out there now.

thanks for the advice, I'll check around
you're right, incan does offer a different "throw" and look to the beam.

the e2e is a great light.... personally i like it as an incan but, i use rechargable AW batts too. just pop in an EO-2R ($15.00) from lumens factory and some AW's and you have a guilt free set up with good spot, throw, and side spill.
with the cost of those kl1 heads you could just buy an e2l and come out pretty good if you sold your e2e.
i guess you have to consider what you will use the light for the most.
