I emailed Surefire a few weeks ago and told them that i MELTED the lense on my Z2 Combatlite.... it was melted running a way too hot bulb for way too long.

they said they would replace.
My Z2 was one of the older ones without a lockign ring.
i was expecting them to only send the lense, but they sent me a WHOLE NEW HEAD!!
I am REALLY impressed!

super customer service!
 
Good deal! That was nice of them. If you don't mind my asking, what lamp assembly were you running that caused it to melt?
 
Just wondering, do you have a Z2 or 6z (main difference being lexan lense and whether it has a LOTC or not)? Sounds like you may have had a lexan lense like my older 6z.

Glad you've got it working again :)
