surefire G2L......regulated ?

i read here yesterday that it may only be regulated for the first hour. can anyone clarify ? thanks......m.

From what I've read, its regulated for the first three hours. It starts out at about 80 lumens then drops to about 65 in the first 20 minutes. After that it is pretty flat for another 3 hours or so and then goes into direct drive.

From what I have experienced with my G2L and what I have read I think the g2L's regulation needs to be investigated a little bit further by the CPF research team before more firm opinions can be given ...
