Because FF3 chicken some out I shall post the photos from the korean website of Surefire new stuff. Btw the domain name is registered to the photographer's name which is in the photos. The pictures are too tasty to miss out. Thanks to cpf member dragon434 for showing us the light.:thumbsup:

Its printed upside down because an Aussie posted the pictures. Austrailia is below the equator. Everything down there is upside down. I am surprised you did not know that.:) Many thanks Koala. Also, tell Olivia Newton-John I still love her the next you see her.

Good job with all the pictures. I found it to be very fishy that that "Surefire is american right?" thread closed so quickly because some people's overly defensive firewalls were scaring them with some spyware. I however didn't get any warnings and my computer is running fine. It is however strange that there is "2006" printed on all the pictures. Maybe that just indicates how old the company is. Not only do we know that the optimus and invictus haven't even come out yet, but the ssc P7 came out only a few months ago, and definately not 2 years ago.
 
This photograph and video gallery is old news to CPF - I'll see if I can find the thread and merge it with this one.

Firstly, the UA2 photographed is the proto-type I photographed from SHOT Show 2008 so it's an early design. It was the one PK had/has.

Secondly, if you visit the gallery (I didn't get any alerts when I did) you'll see the gallery was added on 4th June 2008 at 23:09.

Thirdly, has anybody noticed that the UB2 proto-type seems to be a bit smaller than the 2008 catalogs predicted? Same diameter bezel as the UA2 (which is 1.36") rather than M3/KL6/9AN 1.62" diameter.

As for how come some Korean photographer got the scoop?
PK visits Korea and other countries around the world a lot.
It was simply a matter of right place right time for Lee Hee Sung.

isnt there a topic about this already. i saw that group of photos about a month back. old stuff to me. still great to look at though!:nana:
 
i keep on fearing that the invictus beam will be a very floody beam, with like little to no hotspot. i dont know why i think this but any know how the beam is going to be?
 
If the Invictus can't produce a tight hotspot, the Optimus may be the way to go for us throw-luvers. With that variable focus, I'm hoping it can produce a nice tight spot. Any updates on the release date of the Optimus?

You'll probably get banned, again, for registering under another Username...

Just a thought...

I'd suggest furrther comms about the website issue be completed via email to the appropriate parties.
