Surefire KL1 with red LED question

Howdy,

Does the KL1 with the red LED have the same beam characteristics as the KL1 with the white LED ( E1L, E2L )? Thx in advance for the help.

To my aging eyes, the red has the same type of beam as the white ("square-ish").

OK, thanks. I wanted to know that, the "squarish" beam with little to no spill.
