Surefire L4 clip on my LX2

I decided to switch clips... the LX2 clip isn't as bad as you'd think but seeing as I dont really use clips that often it was a bit of overkill.
I love how the L4 clip looks on it!

That is very nice looking. If I ever get the LX2, I am doing the same. I'm not a fan of the new clip.

Was the swap a straight-forward one, or did you have to do something extra before the L4 clip would fit properly on your LX2?

If it's a straight swap, I might actually get an LX2 myself.

Its a straight swap... fits as tight as the original... I added an extra O ring just to be safe. the extra curvy bit the L4 clip has doesnt even get in the way of the bezel.

But yeh, Its rock solid... just like it was made for it!

Nice, The glow rings are cool too, and for those who don't like glow rings....black ones.

I think I will put the LX2 on my long list of lights to get, cause the A2L is the one on my short list.

I want to try a regular short clip but don't want to give up my stock clip on my LX2. Does anyone have one I could buy? I'll start a thread at CPFMP...

That's great !
I just swapped clips with the E2L ... now I have a long clip on the LX2 and the LX2 clip on the E2L ... where it is a better fit AND the tailcap is a clicky anyway.

No, it does not rest on the tailcap. It looks perfect to me.
As I am using the clip mainly as an anti-roll device this solution is good for me. Would I use the clip however, I would never made the change. The new one is too cool function-wise.

If you want more tension on the clip, I've noticed that the short clips on my Surefire lights hold noticeably tighter than the long clips on my C2 and L5.

Well my short clip came today... I LOVE IT!!! I like it better than the stock clip. I think the new beze down - two way clips are better for short lights like the E1B, LX1 and E1L.... Anyway I really like it.
