Surefire Z2 Questions

Please help me clear up some confusion. I'm curious if the Z2 comes with a lanyard. From certain official pictures I see the lanyard hoop or ring around the tailcap area but in other pictures SF use to market the Z2 they never mention or show the lanyard. Also on the SF website they don't mention it as an accessory that is included.

My G2Z about a year ago came with a lanayrd. The Z2 would also, but I am unsure if they have changed since then. They are great lights and will serve well -- if you wait a little longer you can get the Z2L which uses a LED module for increased brightness and runtime, as well as durability. It will cost more, of course. (You can also just get the Z2 and a P60L LED module for it.)

Thanks for your info. I was planning to the same exact thing you described. I'm actually waiting for the p61l to come out. Btw a few months back you were at paragon and I was the tall asian guy with x300. You were there with another friend with glasses and he had the nitecore and you had your mclux.
I'm not sure if you remember me but I saw your MClux and asked you if you were on cpf and you said you were carrot and I said yeah I recognize that name and you asked me who I was but I've just been a long time board surfer not a poster.

As far as I know, the Z2 does come with a lanyard. Mine did, and it wasn't bought very long ago.

Btw a few months back you were at paragon and I was the tall asian guy with x300. You were there with another friend with glasses and he had the nitecore and you had your mclux.

The P61L is the new Surefire LED drop-in that will arrive some time this year or next...200 lumen, unknown runtime for now.

Yes the Z2's come with a lanyard, I have 2 of them .

P61L is Surefire's LED dropin that will be 200lumens or more. Not released yet. It will fit the Z2 and all p60 style lights.

Except the Nitrolon Series handgun WeaponLights. The P60L and P61L will not work because of the polarity of the batteries.

I ordered the Z2 yesterday and also a Malkoff M60 drop in for it too! 235 lumen LED. I'll let you know if it comes with a lanyard when it arrives in a couple days. Also planning on posting pics. Can't wait!

Thanks !!! I'll be waiting. I'm sure it comes with one since all these guys have so been so gracious to help me out with their experiences with the Z2.
