-'making headlamps with warm tints for medics'. I believe most health professionals would tend to use specialised headlamps marketed at the medical industry. Using something like a zebralight or surefire headlamp, would be a secondary choice.

Field medics use a variety of different headlamps, from the Energizers you can buy at Wal-mart to higher end lights like the Surefire Saint. Really depends on the user, who they work for, and their budget.

In fact I checked one of my main medical supply sites, they have Petzls, and Pelicans for sale. The only medical specific lights are a ENT light set, and those throw away pen lights. I am sure that there are medical specific lights out there, just saying that using normal headlamps is pretty common in field settings.
