Please correct me.........

Is a textured reflector generally better if wanting a light with a lsmooth spill to it?

The smooth reflector is for more of a throw-type light with very little spill?

And I have no idea what an OP reflector is, but have seen it mentioned.

Thanks

orange peel is another term for a textured reflector, since they often look like the texture of orange peel. There are different levels of texturing used, referred to as medium orange peel, light orange peel, etc.

The texture reflector produces a smooth beam, less rings, artifacts, etc. A smooth reflecto will have more artifacts and rings, but produces a brighter and tighter hot spot.

Thank you!

So, the textured reflector in my L1D/P2D combo I bought would be a light or medium OP?
