I know this is a subjective opinion because they are both different but I am trying to decide between the PT and the SnG. I like the size of the PT but love the strength of the SnG. Can y'all just give the pro's and con's of both?

Thanks

I recently acquired a PT and I have to say it is a rather small knife, and very light weight. I was surprised about the rought action of it despite the fact of the hefty price-tag, but it feels very solid and tough. Unfortunately I am a noob with knives, so I have no real expertise, just an opinion.

Just so you know what this opinion is worth ... I bought it because of the pink G10 :D :p

Striders aren't cheap ... and I thought flashlights were expensive. Not sure 900 bucks is worth paying for a folder though.

The $340 I paid for my Sebbie is the limit for me.

The new 3/4 grind SNG's are perfect. I would start with an SNG if it was me. It is a big enough and little enough knife for every task you will give it. The PT is a little small in my opinion. I own many many knives and nothing feels as good in my hand as my SNG.

I bought a SnG CC with tiger stripe blade yesterday. I will post pics when I get it. Thanks for the input y'all.

The CC version is sweet. Do any of you have any fixed blade Striders? I have held a couple and the just seam like to damn much. The tanto blade ones look like they could tear a 747 apart though. I think my next strider is gonna be an SMF Tanto to keep in my turnouts.
