Thomas Distributing site - distributing malware?

Hey -

I was about to check up on the latest MAHA charger when I noticed that Google was giving me a "malware warning" on Thomas Distributing (try googling it).

Against my better judgment, I clicked on the link anyway and now *Firefox* gave me the warning that I was about to visit a malware site.

That really freaked me out so I bailed. oo:

What's up? Has T-D been hacked? Does anyone know how to contact the owners to let them know that they've been blacklisted by the powers-to-be at Google and Firefox? :mecry:

Problem reported to Thomas Distributing.

I only get a warning with https://thomas-distributing.com, but NOT http://thomas-distributing.com nor http://www.thomasdistributing.com nor http://www.nimhbattery.com/.

Note that the warning message indicates that the problem URL above redirects to eallwin.com:

In my Google search, the problem URL was the fourth one down from the top.

Same warning comes up on McAfee. Hope this problem can be resolved soon. This is a very reputable company.

On August 7, our site, www.thomasdistributing.com was compromised by a foreign attack. The situation was addressed when discovered and has been resolved since the 9th. Unfortunately, Google had crawled the page and registered it as a malware problem on the 8th and did not recrawl and remove it from the malware list until the 11th. There was never any danger to anyone using the site; however, this attack has hurt our business, and we are anxious to get the word out that ours is a completely safe site. Good news that the problem is resolved! 'cause I've been checking out those eneloops! Often it is not only the merchant which suffers because of malware attacks, but the consumer as well. Higher prices are often the result, unfortunately, of decreased sales. Glad to hear Thomas is back up to speed! :thumbsup:
