Im interested in one of these raptor RRT03 lights, never owned a jetbeam before. What are your guys thoughts on em? I like the fact they're tripled and the ability of the multiple modes and the 3 diff color secondaries....Are these able to be modded at all? In the body or optics? and which battery seems to be the best fit for it in your opinion?

thanks all for the help!

Jetbeam makes a solid light as a whole but I've never owned the raptor.

I have one with swapped emitters. Easy access but some soldering skills are needed.
I'm running it with 2 adapters and 18650 cell.
They accept button top batteries in stock form so i added a solder blob on positive conntact to add possibility for flat tops as well.

good questions :)
I like the 1200mah keepower 18350, unprotected, to avoid sudden darkness

I prefer the RRT-01 with stepless rotary
they changed my life.. lol

Im now a total snob, and seldom choose to use clicky UIs

but, since you seem interested in multi LEDs and disco aux lights

take a look at the Emissar D4, if youre OK w a quad LED light.. if you prefer a triple, I do, consider the Lumintop FW3A (A= aluminium), or treat yourself to
some relatively inexpensive bling
not cheap, but a fraction of the cost of a Ti McGizmo or Ti HDS (both of which lack the disco lights you fancy)

Appreciate the feedback guys! I may pull the trigger on one of these. I've sold a couple lights lately so it's time to treat myself!
