I'm after a good small thrower (using 1 or 2 cr123's) but am a little confused about telling the difference aside from reading posts on here that say one or the other.
Could someone be kind enough to explain (pretty simply) the hardware difference? Cree XP-G R5 / Cree XP-G R4 / Cree XR-E R5 etc etc is pretty much gobbledygook to me.
I have nitecore D10 SP 'XP-E R2'
and a Fenix PD30 'XP-G R4'
How are these lights classed? and what do i look for when shopping for a 'thrower'?
