I know it hasn't been released yet, but as an educated guess, how much better is the TK-11 going to be for throw than the TK10 & compared to say the A9?

Also assuming the TK11 is the same build quality as the TK10 how does the build quality of the TK10 compare to the A9?

I have both the T1, TK10 and the A9.

I will expect the TK11 to be very close to the TK10, the A9 has a smooth and big reflector, the TK11 can not match that.
But for many purposes the TK10 is better than the A9, the very bright hot spot on A9 is fine if your want to see something far away, but for anything close your do not want it.

Thanks for the info, as titan says, seen as you have both the TK10 & A9 how d they compare in terms of build quality?

Hi HKJ,the OP also wanted to know about build quality compared ,as you have both maybe you could comment?

Between the TK10 and the A9.

I think the both have great build quality. The TK10 may be a bit more solid in construction (the aluminum around the head is thicker), but the construction of the A9 looks more elegant and for me it feels better in the hand.
If your look at stuff like o-rings and threads they are both very nicely done.
In overall finish I will say that the A9 is better than the TK10, but the TK10 is more robust.

But I has a small problem with the UI on A9 (It has drained a some of batteries on that account), for UI (and for general use), I prefer the TK10.

A rough estimate of LUX at one meter would be

T1/TK10 with OP reflector about 6,000-6,500LUX

TK11 with smooth reflector about 8,000-9,000LUX

Tiablo A9 around 20,000 LUX

At least, this is a guess of what I'd see using my LUX meter.

TK10's throw probably gets pretty weak around 400 feet, where the TK11 would get out to 500 or 600 feet with similar intensity to the TK10 at 400 feet. Tiablo would probably have similar intensity at around 700 to 800 feet.
