To mod or not to mod, my new to me Novatacs

Up until now my fairly new flashlight collection has consisted of Fenix, 4sevens and Dereelight brands. I am very happy with these but wanted a higher end , US made light. My budget and mindset just won't allow me to spend $200 on just a single light. So I ran across a couple of Novatacs in the CPF Marketplace. I picked them up and am very happy with my purchase so far. I would like to see the output raised on them though, to at least match my current EDC of a Quark 123 Tactical. I have read countless threads on this topic and have settled on a CPF'r that will preform the XP-G emitter swap for me. So my question is for those that have modded this particular light or similar was the mod worth it ?

Possibly someday I will spend the money on a RA but this is what I have for now.

Without question, yes. Particularly if it is one of the older ones; they work well with XM-L's!
