Hi,
I have two Scolo's connected to a Y adapter which is then connected to 6 NiMh AA's housed in a battery holder. Lights work awesone but if I leave everything connected (turned off) the batteries drain flat over time. Obviously there is some amperage draw somewhere but just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to sort this out.
Thanks,
Joe

NiMH discharge themselves over time, a few weeks might do it for poor ones.
If this is the problem replace with low self discharge eneloops or similar.

Some drivers draw current even when off.
Get an ammeter, and check the current draw with the scolos connected individually, if one is more than the other then there is a problem.
Otherwise disconnect when not riding.

I'm using the Powerex 2700mAh batteries. They are not low discharge but are very good batteries. We're talking less than 3-4 days to absolute dead. They wontt even turn on. I'll give the ammeter a try and see what happens.
