After much investigating i have found malkoff to be best on my shotgun. But I couldnt decide between MCE and M60 so would one on each side of the barrel be overkill or redicously cool? Weight and cost in a problem but MAX brightness is!!!

For home defense I would go with the MCE version since throw isn't an issue. It's kinda like turning the lights on. That being said, I'm considering selling my M60 MCE if I can get a hold on a moddoo triple for a nice mix of flood and throw.

Two lights would be overkill, IMO, and make you look like a mall ninja:poke:. You could get both and switch them out for the proper application for your needs, which is?

I figure the MCE will work just fine period, how far you planning on shooting that shotgun? I know you can reach a ways with slugs but at some point it gets so far out there you should switch to a rifle, where you throwing light should be mounted.

basically its for the thought if zombies were to attack or a mob of people, raids. If your wondering yes im that paraniod

For indoor home use I dont think I'd use either as the bounce off the walls would be just too much BRIGHTNESS for me...

I think a M60WLF would do the trick nicely unless you live in a bowling alley or gymnasium.

With that said, for outdoor use I say why not go for both if the weight doesnt bother you!

Ya the weight wont bother me, my shotie already has a total of 45 3inch supermagnum rounds on it, so i dont think two lights will make much difference lol. I do want both i think it will be such an awsome combo unless theres light like the M1X to mount on it

If you dont mind extra weight, you could always pull a "DaFABRICATA" and build your own monster:

Can you imagine the perps face!?!??!?!?!?!!?

For indoor use, the backscatter from a 500 lumen flooder will take away your night vision, which is a bad thing. While I like my M60W MC-E, it's probably better to have a little less flood on the shotgun. An M60 or M60W with primary cells is my weaponlight choice. It has a nice hotspot for illuminating the room on the other side of a doorway, without too much self-illumination from the flood beam.
