U2 body + LU60 adaptor + Z44 w/ Malkoff M60?

I tried the search function, but U2 is too short and couldn't find anything on this...

So my question is will a U2 body + LU60 adaptor + Z44 w/ Malkoff M60 give me variable output like a regular U2? Never used the U2 so not really sure if the electronics are part of the bezel or the body.

Nope. Selector ring is part of head.
