Hello Haya,

Not sure if you're still looking for information on this charger but I read in another post that the very knowledgeable member old4570 has recently purchased one so no doubt he will kindly share his highly valued opinion of it when it arrives.

old4570 when you receive the wf-188 tell us what's the longest battery it will take.
thanks

Hmm guess it didn't arrive by the end of the week then? I don't think you get Saturday deliveries in Australia do you? (Not desperate for the review, just wondering.)

I've seem some discussion of the WF-188 in some Japanese sites but haven't found any review. There may be something in the link http://groups.google.co.nz/group/ja...5ab95a2f880?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=ultrafire+wf-188 but I'm not really sure and you need to be a JFG member to see the link

Hi,

Search for "UltrFire Rapid charger For 3.2V/3.7V Lithium batteries".
Sorry, I'm new so don't want to upset anyone by posting a direct link.

That worked much better than WF-188.
I have two on order from Ebay (HK Equipment).
They cost me a little more but if they work I will be happy.

Hopefully this will turn out to be a somewhat decent charger.

Maybe they are monitoring what we report and are acting on it (hey, we can hope, right?)

I like that it handles various cell sizes and has selectable charge currents and terminating voltages.

Glad I could help.
I have to admire you guys who take a blind leap with new products.
I know it's not a great deal of money but I don't yet know enough about the dos and don'ts of battery technology to feel comfortable about buying without getting more educated opinions first.

Cheers,

Would 650ma be too much to safley charge an AWRCR123, 750ma? I like the features of this charger but don't want to fry my RCR123's...anyone know the max charge rate of these cells?

Not sure about the 750mah AWs but one of the features of this charger is the manually selectable 650mA or 300mA charging rates.
