I just received this bead blasted bezel ring for my PD, what do you all think??? I'm really starting to dig bead blasted Ti...:ironic:

sweet!, how does the surface hold up? prone to scratching more than bare Ti, or more noticable?

That is sweet. I have wanted my Ti bead blasted ever since I saw Don's one off III-T that was mixed flat and bead blasted.
Please please tell me I can send mine to someone for this.

Much easier to renew/refresh the finish, if it's blasted.

How's yours holding up jch79?

She's holdin' up fine so far! The corners are getting a little glossy (for lack of better words), but so far it looks cool... I did the "broken in" look with the blasted Ti. It gets EDC'd, just not every day... it's in "the rotation". ;)

As for the insides, it's running a cryhavok-built FluPIC Aleph LE, and kickin' a USV0I SSC LED. Not bad!

As for the outside, what can I say about TB's work except... IT'S ALL MINE!! :D :devil:

i could do it, ive got a media blaster in the shop off of our deck, let me blast some ti tommorrow and if it turns out good ill let you know, id do it for free other than the cost of shipping.

I've always been a fan of bead blasted finishes. That bezel and TB Aleph look GREAT!!! I have an S27 Cx2 out for AlTiN finishing with a bead blasted finish. I really can't wait to see the results. :)

mossyoak, please do post pics of the results. Your offer is more than generous.

i dont know how some of you can get the ti to look so dark but these pieces are the exact shade and look the same as a ti McG clip.

Wow! I like the results. I've got a relatively inexpensive Ti CRKT knife that I'd love to blast sometime.

How long did it take to blast the Ti bezel? You should blast the Ti belt clip too for a coordinated look! ;)
