Vapcell S4+

Hello, I just received the Vapcell s4+, picture shows all it does. If I put one in backwards it gives an error so power and battery connections are sound. Is there a secret code I need or do I need to RTFM?

As a follow up, the cells I attempted to charge were sitting at 4.75V. How they got there is a mystery. They have since been retired. New batteries tested and charged as expected.
