Eron (Nabeya Co., Ltd of Gifu, Japan) makes lot of workholding tools. As with most things Japanese, every item is best quality. Although this sounds sacrilegious, I would compare Eron machine vises to ... Kurt

And you sometimes see them on eBay. Most people, even long time machinists, have never heard of Eron. Which often makes them a great buy on eBay.
