Voltage required for this driver and 4 LED's?

I am working on a quad seoul project and just wondering what Vin I would require on this driver(http://www.leddynamics.com/LuxDrive/datasheets/3021-BuckPuck.pdf) to run 4 SSC P4 U-Bin's from DX in both series and parallel config.

I am using the 1000mA driver with the 3023 option which is only the external leads with dimming pot.

I am just trying to figure out the bettery source to use.

From what I've read; looks like 12vdc.

Im going by the circuit image on page 5. Six mounted in series/parallel.
