WE3.7V vs EO-4 - any experience?

Hi Guys
Has anyone done a direct comparison of the newer wolf-eyes 3.7V bulb and the LF EO-4 please? Particularly with reference to throw distance outdoors?
Also, my EO-4 has a frosted-type effect going on at the end of the bulb. Is this normal for the EO-4? My P60 bulb is perfectly clear.

I've compared the Wolf-Eyes 3.7V D26 and the Lumens Factory HO-4, but not the EO-4.
The HO-4 has much better throw, and longer runtime. The WE lamps have very heavy orange peel finishes that give them very even beams with bright spill light, but has a negative effect on their throw, while the LF lamps are pure throwers with bright spots, but uneven and relatively dim spill.
I believe the EO-4 should have similar runtime to the WE 3.7V, and have a larger, brighter spot than the HO-4 that throws more light further(that's typical of the difference in the various levels of Lumens Factory LAs) .
The WE 3.7V dims fairly quickly, so I would assume the same of the EO-4. The HO-4 might be a good compromise if you intend to use the light continuously, but if you just want momentary and bright, I'd definitely go for the EO-4.
