What can I use to make a homemade diffuser for my Fenix L2S?

That might be a little TOO much diffusion for most folks. More like a dimmer Try a piece of scotch satin/magic tape over the lens. I tried it recently both straight off the tape role and "polished" a bit with some simichrome to give it more light transfer+ make the beam less oval (the tape I have has a "directional" satin finish, can't remember if that's normal or if I just got a funky roll). Straight off the roll it gives alot of diffuse light, and with it polished it really smooths out the beam on my M60.

A film cannister sometimes works. That might be too much diffusion again though
