I was reading the post about SF 6PL and G2L and I dont understand when you guys are talking about LED's as Q2, Q4, P4??? What does all that mean? Sorry if these are common terms and I dont know.....

These are bin codes of Cree XR-E leds. They mean how bright they are with the same powerusage. A higher bin means more light with the same runtime on the same batteries.

P4 is kind of standard at the moment.
Q1 is a bit brighter
Q2 another bit brighter, as far as I know this one is the brightest used in flashlights at the moment.
Q3 etc
Q4 etc

The exact number of lumens per watt are to be found in the specifications of the Cree XR-E led. (just search internet to find these.)

Edit:
Found them in another thread. After the arrow are expected lumens at 1A. (thanks wintermute)

P4 80.6 lm @ 350mA => 181.35 lm
Q2 87.4 lm @ 350mA => 196.65 lm
Q3 93.9 lm @ 350mA => 211.28 lm
Q4 100.4 lm @ 350mA => 225.90 lm
Q5 107.0 lm @ 350mA => 240.75 lm

When can we expect Q4/Q5 bins to be available on off the shelf units?

I see that the Fenix-Store has the Q2 units as specials but they're ~$15 more than the regular units. How much more expensive will the Q4/Q5's be?
