Im looking to buy some cr123's. Can you guys recommend a good website to order from? Im looking for Surefire, Energizer, or Duracell brand only. Thanks.

I buy mine from 7dayshop.com

Very good customer service, and good price too.

batterystation.com 50x cr123a for $60 shipped.

lighthound.com has great prices on the same batteries, and you dont need to buy 50 of them. they also have great prices for other batteries.

batteryjunction.com although they arent taking orders at the moment, because of a recent fire, have very good prices on titanium brand batteries.

Batterystation's deal is for their own brand, but they are really rebadged, made in the US, premium cells. Best of cost/quality.

Ok i might go with Battery station batteries, How good are they? Do they last as long as other brands? Will they leak?( I read somewhere a few weeks ago about one leaking all over the inside of a surefire:eek:).

From what I remember reading (don't quote me on this), there is only 1 US factory (Panasonic?) that makes CR123 cells, so any made in the US CR123 is made by that factory. The Battery Station cells are made in the US, so they should be the same as Surefires, Duracells, Energizers, Panasonics, etc.

I believe there are actually two factories (Duracell, Panasonic), although I could be mistaken at this point, however, they make them to the specs of whomever's label they are, so you will find some brands to be a bit better performers than others.

I have seen some reports of faulty BatteryStation cells, but they were from back when they sourced them from China.
Now that their brand are USA made they are up there with the best. Check here.

You are mistaken. All US made cells are produced by Panasonic.

I am very happy with the performance of the Titanium cells from Batteryjunction. I also like that you can order them shrink wrapped in pairs and triples for multicell lights. That way you KNOW you are not mixing old and new cells.

FYI I added 'Country of Origin' to a chart put together by SilverFox, this might help - I have CR123's by Duracell, Streamlight, and SureFire since I know they are all US Made Panasonics.

The test data is pretty old by now, so there is a good chance that some of the data might be outdated. I'm guessing that the various watt-hours for all the rebranded Panasonics result from lot-to-lot variation rather than cells made to different specifications or quality. I do note however that the US-Made cells perform consistently higher than the China-made cells at these low-to-moderate drain rates - One way I like to think of my cell purchases is regarding watt-hours per dollar rather than how many cells I can get for the lowest price.

Botach periodically has decent deals on bulk cells as well. I've been very happy with the sanyo cells I purchased from them a while ago. Right now it looks like they have 100x rayovac brand for $120, which isn't a bad deal.

I've bought a lot of my batteries from Lighthound...

Same here. Whether you want a few or a lot, LH is the way to go.

I got mine from Amazon. They have all the brand your asking for.

This would be my second choice although you have more brands to choose from.

For the price, the Battery Station batteries perform on par with the Surefire batteries in all my lights.

Batterystation. You might be able to find cheaper batteries, but I like the quality and customer service, made in the USA is a plus for me also. I also remember a batterystation cell wrecking a flashlight, but I'm almost positive that batterystation replaced the light.
