Re: name that light!!

The head confuses me, it has basically 2 different diameters while most have 1.

This is a rechargeable model. It can be ran like a 6p or rechargable with the extension.

Is this an old 6R??

Could be a 6R or a 6P with an A19 cell extension. The head is a 1st generation shock isolated bezel, probably from the late 90's...

The back section is to big to be an A19...looks like an older A14 (6R) for use with the B65. Looks to be in nice shape for an older light!

As people have mentioned, it's a flashlight thrown together from a variety of parts.

Z32 Shock Isolated Bezel. Up until very recently this bezel was the Z32.
In the last year SureFire replaced this bezel with what was known as the "M2" bezel. I'm sure there are plenty of the old style Z32's still at Dealers.
The up to date laser etched logo and serial number indicate it is quite recent.
Original Z32's were slightly different styling.

Then we have an older 6P body. Pre-Millennium based on the lack of flat-panels and channels edging the knurling.

Then we have an A14 body extender. Current post-Millennium version (channels edging the knurling)

And a Z41 LockOut TailCap.

Without the Z32 it'd be a 6R.
With the Z32, if such a model was made, it'd likely be a '6RS'

The Lamp Assembly would be a P60 powered by the B65 NiCad battery stick.

Based on the variety of parts this could have been put together yesterday with the exception of the 6P body which is unlikely to have sat around at a retailer for this long...
