What to do with an Arc AA?

So, i was digging through my bits box and found the bits to make up a couple of Arc AAs, minus the electronics. I have been out of the game for a bit so i dont know who is doing what or what options there are at the moment so please fill me in. I want two modes, preferably user-selectable levels, a high output of about 100 lumens and to use alkaline batteries, although i will normally run lithium primaries. Who should i contact to do the work, assuming that this is do able?

Hey, Mark - you'll be hard pressed to consitenly get that much light out of an alkie. NiMH or lithium AA's would be the way to go.

You're pretty much stuck with using Luxes for that, though. You can use P4's, but the gummy dome is more fragile and attracts gunk really easily in the ArcAA's open head.

IIRC, chimo did some really cool Arc AAA mods using FluPIC boards and LuxIII's. I know, yours is an ArcAA, but the dimensions inside the head are the same.

I thought 100 was probably a bit high, how about 60? I dont want to risk ruining an Arc AA myself, i might contact Chimo. Is Bombelman still about?
