What to do with these old lights?

I was just digging through some of my junk and found a Pelican Mitylite 2AAA and a Streamlight Keymate. They were barely passable in their time. Is there anything I can do to them, in terms of mods, or should I just throw them out? The Pelican was garbage from the beginning, but the Keymate is really cute and indestructible, as dim and blue as it is.

The Keymate can be modded. The Pelican is no blaster, but I always thought the Mitylites were pretty bright, for what they are.

Cool, at least there's something that can be done. Anybody feel like modding my Keymate, a brighter LED and maybe able to take a different type of battery other than those little buttons? You can have my Pelican, and I'll of course pay for your services. Email me!
