I am curious about something... My Husky 3 Million CP spotlight came with a 5.2AH rechargeable battery. The battery was dead when I received my light, so I replaced it with a 4.5AH rechargeable that I had laying around my house. The spotlight works fine with it's lower AH replacement. I would just like to know if by using a lower AH battery is my spotlight not being allowed to reach full performance? Or say if I drop in a 6.6AH will it be a lot better performance? What difference is there if any?

Provided your battery can support the current needed by the bulb only difference will be runtime

EDIT: of course I assumed the voltages of both batteries to be equal.

Runtime would probably be the biggest change, you should get around 13-20% less runtime then the original battery.

Thanks for the info... I was using the light last night and I'm satisfied with the runtime actually. I don't use it in a continuous state very long. I just hit things intermittently. I was gonna buy a larger AH battery, but now I am happy with the one I'm using since only runtime is the major difference. It's plenty bright, that's for sure....

I appreciate your replies...........
