Hello gents!

As the thread title states, I am trying to find a place to buy Surefire batteries in Europe.
I have tried searching the intertubes, but have so far been unsuccessfull in my quest for these cheap quality primaries. :(

I also tried searching CPF for any info on this subject but didn't find anything.

Any help would be much appreciated since all I have now are AW li-ions and they are too expensive to take on camping trips and the like.

Ahh. If you're after genuine SF brand batteries, head over to lighthound.com

Otherwise, very very good quality batteries can be had from www.batterystation.com/cpf.htm

I believe they're running a $1.00 a cell rayovac promotion at the moment. My experience with about 150 cells is that rayovacs perform as well as SFs in real world use.

Europe my friend! Europe!

You unless you're OK with a big shipping fee you can better leave lighthound for what it is and check eBay. It's amazing what those guys in China can ship worldwide in a envelop for just three bucks :)

Why get Chinese cells with all their danger and performance problems?

As I understand it, lighthound and batterystation both charge reasonably for shipping to Europe (and to Australia).

You don't really need to confine yourself to Surefire branded batteries. You can buy any quality mainstream brand that is made in the USA/Europe/Japan and get good results from them. For instance, 7DayShop has Panasonic branded CR123A's at a reasonable price of £1.24 in quantity.

And with the current exchange rate that's around €1.30 LOL! :D
