Which are reliable?

I've never really delved into headlamps but have been looking into the Zebralights recently and noticed there are some negative comments here about them. Are they an unreliable light?

How does a Zebralight compare with the likes of a Petzl? Are Petzl a better brand than Zebralight?

Since I bought my Zebralights I have never used my Petzl headlamps....

Well, you might have a pretty complete list of reliable headlamps at this point. I certainly haven't had luck with them.

How about a Nitecore headband and a flashlight?

I bought the Nitecore, Nite Ize and Fenix headbands, I gave the Nitecore and Nite Ize headbands away, Fenix headband was so much better.

Petzl Myo XP
3-AA Alcaline or Nickel Metal Hydride
low-medium-high-turbo
85 Lumens on high 135 lumens on turbo

weather and shock resistant... Solid headlamp @ a good price
