Which charger should I use???

I just got 2 pairs of eneloops to use in my l1d. I already own 2 chargers but don't know which one two use for the eneloops. I looked around the fourms and didn't find anything so here I go. It is said it is better to use the sanyo charger for eneloops but my sanyo charger is called "super quick charger" but only two of the four slots say quick charge. I also read it is better not to use fast chargers; my other charger is a Panasonic 5 hour charger. So is it better for me to use the sanyo quick charger or the Panasonic slow charger? And while I'm here I have another quick question. I'm planning on buying a second l1d q5 to put on my bushmaster ar-15, but I'm a little scared the constant recoil shocks will damage the light. Should I play it safe and go with a weapon light or do you think the l1d is up to the challenge? Thanks in advance for the help

Welcome to CPF.

I would recommend using the Sanyo charger.

Recoil can be hard on lights but I am not sure if the AR-15 produces enough recoil to do damage. You will have to do some testing.

The recoil may accidently change the modes on the L1D. Something from the Fenix T series would be better suited.

BTW, the "fast chargers" that are not recommeded are the 15 minute chargers. A charger which takes 1-2 hours is ideal for NiMH cells.

If so, that's a good charger. Each slot is a separate channel, meaning that if one battery is full it will stop and just charge the others. This avoids overcharging. Also, if you use either middle slot, all slots will be at 1000ma, but if you use only the the outer slots (marked as QUICK) they will be at 2000ma. Either speed is good for eneloops.

If it isn't that model though, ignore all that, but mention the model here anyway.
