Which Commercially Made P60 has Best Throw?

My vote would go to the Malkoff M60/M30 w/ optic. My Malkoff M30 has the best throw of any P60 I have had. It beats my Dereelight CL1H (P60) module pretty handily.

I ruled out hand made units like Malkoff and Nailbender because they are so expensive and hard to find. I'm looking for a commercially available product.

I'm not interested in any hand made small scale production items, looking for a commecially produced product sold by American dealers like Dereelight, Solarforce, etc.

It should run or either a single 18650 or 2 X CR123. It needn't take both options just one or the other. I just don't want to add an extender on my L2.

It should come with its own reflector. I'm not interested in modding nor making 3 separate purchases just to get one drop in.

DX and Kaidoman products are only acceptable IF carried by one of our CPF Marketplace American dealers. I don't want to wait for delivery from HK.

No Paypal. Not interested in a private purchase. Wish to purchase a brand new P60 from a dealer.

I got a Lumens Factory 3-mode LED in my SF C2 and I can spot a person 300m away on two primaries.
I think that is pretty good for the price of the drop in and it should be the same with the single mode version.

P60 is the term used by Surefire. And it is 26mm in diameter, hence the term D26.

Ya, you could buy a T100C2 MarkII for less! (and that's about 12,000 lux)

I'd go to $50 if the drop in is spectacular but I'm also concerned that the 11,000 lux number might be in the DBS which has a larger than normal head. I'd like to put mine in my Javelin or L2.

No the 11000 lux is on my CL1H SMO (P60) module. The DBS is more around 30000 lux@1m with the same emitter.

For the record, Malkoff has a production line now.

But how much actual product in stock? No m60's. (Idont want m60f or w or l)No m61's.
I'm sure he's great but I prefer to stick with large scale production with lower prices.

I just got the Nailbender XP-E R3 and I got 195 OTF lumens and got it thinking more throw since it has a smaller surface area....We will have to check for lux now and do some side by side shots.

Have you ever measured the Dereelight R2 Lux? Does the host matter?

I was under the impression that XP-E do not throw as well as the XR-E.. the XR-E has a 90 degree viewing angle while the XP-E has a 115 degree angle.

rec, host doesn't matter that much -- but it does depend on the glass in the host and shock isolation (shock isolated bezels reduce output as the dropin is farther back),

I just now measured my Dereelight P60 module (CL1H) 3SD R2 WH SMO in a Solarforce L2 host, and it gives me about 11600 lux@1m.
The same pill in a OP reflector gives me about 9000 lux.

i read the OP, i know you don't wanna wait a long time and would like to make a purchase from a vendor state-side but this reflector only cost $3.24 when i purchased it this fall....and they only charge $0.01 to ship. its basically a kit that also includes a pill and two springs. it was an impulse buy. i was astonished at how sharp a beam it produces w/ an XR-E (it does not work well w/ XP-Gs).

it out throws my M30 Malkoff, my Olight M20 w/ its SMO, my Quark Turbo and my LX2. it even gives the Tiablo A9 a run for its money.

I have most all of them: Malkoff, Pila, Wolf Eyes, Nailbender... The one you want for 30 odd bucks is the Dereelight with an XP-E and smoothe reflector. (OP is fine as well, less ringy) I agree the Malkoff and some of the custom units are better, but your criteria eliminates them. Go Dereelight from flashlight connection and use the CPF discount, you won't be disappointed.

Along the same lines as the OP, I'd like a P60 that's got a bigger spot then an E2DL, and greater lux then an E2DL.

Cost isn't a factor, reliability is but the bigger spot and high lux is #1!!
