I am looking for a headlamp with the option of green led's for walking to and from my hunting area. I seem to see after doing some web searching that green led's disturb deer the least. I suppose that is debatable by some but nonetheless what headlamp would you recommend with this option that is lightweight, reasonably priced, and waterproof? Many thanks.

I suspect that you might be limited to Streamlight headlamps - they're the ones who've promoted the green LED for hunting the most over the years. Most other companies only have red as an option.

THe Princeton Tec Remix offers a 70 lumen white led light with an option of 3 green LEDS(or red or white). In can be commonly found on ebay in the $35-40 range. In runs on 3 AAA batteries. It is not regulated at this time. The Remix Pro has the same features, runs on 123a and is regulated. It is a little more expensive. Princeton Tec lights are quality lights.

Hope this helps.
