I have one of these doing quite well in my 3d mag.
It's everywhere on ebay for about 40 bucks or slightly less.
Just enter in the search box; 32 led
And there ya go. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
There are also near ultraviolet versions of this showing up too for about the same price, for anybody needing one of those.
It's available for the 3d and the 4d gaglites with a resistor for each of the 32 leds. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
Output is about the same as both my everleds put together.
It's using about 700 - 850 milliamps from my nimh D batteries. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Same power consumption as the stock bulb with no ambering out as the batteries unwind. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
The white version has a smooth icy cool white color with a barely perceptable slightly bluer center, but much less so than the Nichia leds we have come to know.
Nevertheless, the color rendering is still pretty good throughout the fairly even, wide spot/narrow flood beam pattern. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I have already had another guard drop this thing onto the concrete floor of the parking garage from 3 feet. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon8.gif
No damage at all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif
