meuge, try bst, youll never know who might be looking for one. Also, is your T1 head unscrewable? its a +++ selling point if it is.

This light will be on my short list.

However, if I could get a great deal on a used T1, I would go for that. The T1 is a killer light as it is. I torture tested a T1 from the Fenix Store, and I was impressed with the performance and durability of the light.

I voted "NO." My current T1 is a dust collector, and the new one doesn't look like it's really any better. I'm not a huge fan of the T1. I can't carry it in my pants pocket, and it's outclassed, IMO, by my similarly sized SF 6PD w/Malkoff M60 and Tiablo MA6.

It's very nice, but CR123 primaries aren't my style. The 18650 they've got planned, though....

i somehow doubt that Fenix will use SSCs? i mean, they have NO other SSCs in thier line up...

maybe that will change though..

i think the reason they cant make it P60 competible is because the T1/Tk10 has a deeper reflector. Making it P60 competible means that they have to be satisfied with whatever designs a P60 can offer.

further more, the heat sinking on the T1 look far superior to what a P60 can offer IMO

I agree. Being P60 compatible would be more of a design limitation and compromise at this point, IMHO. Like expecting Toyota to design a new model Corolla around last year's model's engine because it was good.

Will wait for a 18650 version of it and a review. But if a 18650 P7 version will come out, I will most likely buy it right away.

Nope.
1) Won't fit in my pockets comfortably.
2) Not an improvement over a P60 host with a Dereelight 3SD Q5 module in it. A small P60 host does fit in my pocket.
3) Another Fenix would only interest me if they made 2 more versions of the P3D. One optimized for the 17670, and one a little bigger optimized for the 18650.

I'm in. Yeah I'd prefer 18650, but since I didn't get the T1, maybe I'll splurge again someday. For now I'll try the TK10. It may replace my 5 watt "nuwaii type" 2 CR123 floddy LED OR my Surefire A2 Avaitor.

I'm on the verge of giving in without waiting for the review. I really like the style of this new version, the original T1 seems to have an awkward styling.

It looks to be a great light, sadly I will pass. Mainly because I have 2 Z2's and it is not P60. Aside from specialty lights, I try to stick to P60 for easy upgrade ability since I do not solder.
