Hello everyone. I am finding that I prefer a clicky to a twisty and am wondering who makes a keychain sized light in a AAA or AA format that is a rear clicky. I have the Preon 2 and I love it and I also have a Fenix LD01 but do not like the twisty as much. I do not mind turning the bezel for modes, but I like to turn the light on and off with a clicky.

Thanks for the link. Reading the article makes me think I have one of the better AAA lights out there, the Fenix LD01.

Why not just buy a 1XAAA battery tube for your Preon? They're only $7 with free shipping.

Streamlight Microstream is a single AAA rear clicky light

Uses a "half-watt" SSC Z-50 LED, runs around 15 to 20 lumens and costs $15 to $20.

My brother in law gave me one about 2 months back, it now sits on my keychain and is very bright, very white with great throw and runs at least 2 hours on a single Eneloop rechargable AAA cell.

I believe there is a min $ order before the free shipping kicks in.

According to their website, all prices at 4Sevens include the shipping. A Preon 1 tube costs $7.00 which includes regular shipping, even to Canada! :D No minimum order.

Regards

Christian

Just buy the Quark Preon I AND an optional "Clicky". The Preon I comes with both a clip and an attachment for a key ring.

you can "fenixstream" your LD01.. did it with my LOD.(microstream body with LDO1 or LOD head, didnt like the clicky action that much, but it worked well)
or of course just use the microstream as is.

LF2XT is the way to go, tho.

If you like your LD01, I'd try the fenixstream out.

The Lumapower Avenger GX is a forward clicky, 1 AA light.

You should also just get a 1 AAA tube for your Preon.

The Leatherman Serac S2 is also basically a Fenix L0D with only 2 modes and rear clicky.

I hate to be anal but it's a 4sevens Preon or a 4sevens Quark. There is no such thing as a Quark Preon.

Get the switch for the Preon. Postage is included in the price.

Who makes the single AAA that has 3 modes with the highest at 80 lumens. Just saw it on one of these threads & I forgot to bookmark it.
