I have the TK11 that works very well, I like it a lot, but I'm looking for the best throw in this same sized flashlight. Two CR123's is what I am after, as well.

I'll be using this flashlight to illuminate large vacant warehouses that have no electric power.

Any thoughts...thanks in advance!

not too sure a A10 would be an idea light.. that thing has a huge head!

perhaps an A9?

im sure the olight m20, and jetbeam RRT-2 both with smooth reflectors will throw better, but not by a whole lot.

you should check out selfbuilt's "throwers round-up review"
most the lights in the review are about the same length but with a wider diameter head compared to the tk11 for maxium throw.

Thanks,

Looks like I will need to go with a larger head, to get what I need.

The A9 seems like interesting option.

The EagleTac T20C2 is a better thrower than the TK11

This is what I found to be the general consensus and one reason I got the T20C2 instead of the TK11.

It's my first "real" flashlight of any power so I have nothing to compare it to, but MAN can it throw! :faint:

My T20C2's head isn't so big, I can fit it inside any jeans pocket easily and I don't wear them baggy. (Relaxed maybe, but not at all loose).

Thanks for the replies :twothumbs- the EagleTac T20C2 it is... I like the sma-sma-smaller sized head (less throw than the A9, perhaps) ... I'll see how it compares to the TK11, which really like.

Sorry, sometimes I studder.

John

EDIT:
Who are the better vendors for the EagleTac T20C2...thanks.

You'll have to let us know if you think it out throws the TK11.

I got my T20C2 here:

http://www.illuminationgear.com/26992.html

That's through Lexbox97 on here, I think CPF member get 8% off, and very helpful and knowledgeable seller.

My T20C2 has the smooth reflector btw.

Check the UI on the Eagletac beforehand. Some people don't like it (specially the strobe...).

The T20C2 has 15,360 lux. The TK11 11,360.

The T20 has a significant throw advantage. These measurements were done by the same reviewer so should show the difference.

I had a T20. It it has a great beam. great throw, bright spill. I'm thinking of picking another up since they fixed that very annoying strobe issue.
