Why my 3 cree module doesnt fit my WF-500?

Hi all.
I while ago i purchased a 3 cree module from dx but never used it. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.9358


I ended up deciding to buy a wf-500 xenon to fit this.

and convert it into
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7933

Unfortunately the 3 cree module rattles inside the light.
It seems it's shorter and doesn't make proper contact with the battery, but if i push the lens down to move the module deeper for about 1mm it touches the body and works fine.

Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

I have it, and it's pretty good. Strong spill..spot a bit tight though.

There are so many different models that look like the Ultrafire 500, but have slight differences. I don't think that module is meant to fit....

Sorry I've no idea why that don't fit. But it will fir a D mag with a little work.....see here.

Can you tell me the voltage range on this dropin? DX has no spec for it.
