Why no P7 or MC-E that takes AA?

I'll take a L2D MCE!
Heck, if they made one take four AA cells, the MCE could run at 350mA per emitter. A L2D pushes 700mA to the emitter so 4AA pushing 1.4 amps won't be that bad at all. 430 LED lumens? It would be a very floody light but I would buy them for bike lights (I use L2D Q5's now)

Now just make the circuit versatile enough to accept 14500s, and you'd have a real winner! This is exactly the torch I want.
