I got a Led Laser P7 flash light and was thinking if it was possible to put 4 3.7v Li-Ion battery in to make it be brighter, rechargeable, and last longer or will it not work and blow the led? Thanks

Chances are it will break pretty quick. Led Lensers aren't regulated, which means that the current draw is limited by the battery voltage and it's current output. Which means if you put in 2.5x the voltage it's rated for, it will most likely melt very fast. I use nimh's in my p14, but still have to be careful not to use full brightness right after you take the batteries off the charger.

No, you can not put 14.7V batteries (4x 3.7V) into a light that is designed to run on 6V (4*1.5V), it might be really bright for a while but then the led will surely go :poof:.
If you want to use Li-Ion's on that light, you need to modify the battery carrier so that all the batteries are connected parallel(or make housing for one big Li-Ion), and change the resistors too if you want more brightness out of it..
