will my G2 bulb/module fit in this light from DX?

I have never tried that light, but i did try a p60 bulb in an ultrafire 502b from DX, and the bulb would not light up because the flashlight was bored a little bigger to fit 18650's and i see this one is bored for rechargables. The way i got it to light up was to put an extra p60 led spring around the negative spring of the p60 incan and it worked fine

thanks for the replies..I'm just looking for something really cheap just to put the P60 to use..

looks like a standard ultra/super fire light based on the D26 module design to me. I have a 3 and 4 cell version that fit most D26 modules.

I just noticed that on DX website for the description it shows it as 214 lumens. I realize this is probably inflated but wonder if its even worth buying just to put my surefire P60 to use? Is there any benefit to buying this cheap light to remove its stock bulb and put in my surefire p60L? Do you think I would gain any runtime over the stock bulb or better quality beam since I have the orig surefire P60 vs whatever comes in the DX light? thanks for helping me out..

Not really, as that model is the 2xRCR123 that runs a G90 9v lamp. The 214lumen figure is bulb lumens, not torch lumens out the front of the lens.

Torch lumens will be somewhere in the 120-140lumens depending on efficiency of the reflector and lens.

In my opinion, those Ultrafire(aka Superfire, Spiderfire etc...) lights are pretty cr@p, even considering the low price. The aluminium they use is VERY soft, if you're not careful with it, the body bends out of shape and the switch is very awful and unreliable. I've busted 2 tailcaps and trying to get a replacement tailcap is almost the cost of buying a new light.

If you want a REAL low cost but good quality alternative to the 6P, get the Solarforce L2 Xenon. It comes with an ultra-clear, anti-reflective coated glass lens and its threads are the same as Surefires, which means you can use Surefire parts later down the track, which is a BIG plus for any mods in the future. I just purchased the SF L2 clone with an A19 extender, so I can convert my clone 6P to a 9P anytime. I have a spare Surefire Z59 tailcap sitting around which will fit nicely to that package.

Such a package offers me flexibilty to use either a P91 for lots of output, or swap to a P60 LED drop-in for lots of runtime. This setup also allows me to use my 17500 LI-ons and have spare CR123s as backup.
