I was just wondering if the TK-11 will come with a charger because i havnt seen a picture of it with a charger.

You are expected to be familiar with the needs of charging the rechargeable batteries used with the TK11. The Pila IBC is a recommended charger.

I think they should supply a charger with it. They would sell better that way.

Anyone know where i can get the Pila IBC in Australia ?

I think it's the other way around. I was a bit put off with the TK10 at FenixStore as it included 4 primaries that I didn't need or wanted to use (but I jumped on the TK11...). I think the best thing is to focus on the product and let everyone decide by themself what charger, batteries and so on they need...

So 4 free cells were a NEGATIVE??

Well it looks as though i will have to buy the torch ,batteries and charger from seperate shops online . It would be much easier if it was all in the one package.

You can get a charger and cells from the same place you buy the light, Fenix-Store

There is no Fenix store in Australia, only shops that stock Fenix lights but none of them stock 18650 batteries and compatible chargers. I know i could buy it all from the U.S based fenix store but it makes things complicated. Its times like these i wish i was an American.:ironic:

There is no such thing as a free lunch... I'd rather have the $13 discount...

At $66 the TK10 would have sold much better IMHO... Just look at what happened when DX sold it at a $59 pricepoint...

i feel fenix bashing....

IF you think buying the charger and everything is going to be a hassle, then just buy the tk10. you can also find the charger and batteries at

www.dealextreme.com

fenix DOES have the charger in store at fenix-store if want to buy it there too.

And as for free batteries, 70+ dollars is a great price for a light that great, with or without batteries. i really dont see how 4 extra batteries is a bad thing.

Well, you can get the TK11 for $70.84, good luck finding it cheaper, even from stores not giving you 4 free cells.

Kelsojack, talk to David at Torchworld in Melbourne, as he is the Australian Fenix distributor. He can set you up with the batteries and charger, as well as the TK11. He is a bit under the weather this week, so it may take him a few days to get back to you. In the past he has stocked a charger and Tenergy Protected 18650 batteries. They are currently not listed on the web site, but I suspect that they are just on order.

Regards,
Eric

If you don't need the 18650 compatibility, buying the TK10 would be easier.

Fenix Store also has world wire shipping it heir price. But it would probably be quicker to buy from your continent.

I got a T1, charger and 4 RCR123's to NZ in 6 days ex Fenix store so why not just do that in Oz. It's not that complicated and is free shipping so....?
Just get the TK11 and a 18650 instead now because you will get better runtimes.
