Would love an opinion on which HID light is best out of these 4

Hi, I was wondering if theres someone online that could give me there opinion.

Im trying to decide what HID spotlight is best to buy for my boyfriend..and having a bit of a hard time to figure that out..(even after reading most threads on this form).

Im trying to decide between :

Sams clubs POWER on Board

or

N30

or

(I realize this is not HID..but it has a 3335 lumen..so I thought it might be a contender.

Would love an opinion from someone who is online now that would know the difference so I can order this today..

from the photos some people have posted on here..i would think the Power on board is better then the N30...but wanted to ask about these two others as well..
weight doesnt really matter to me..nor does the price as long as its under 200$

The N30 would be smaller and the Sams Club could be cheaper(and should project further due to the larger reflector). Both will be quite bright.

The N30 is smaller and lighter, but it doesn't throw as far due to the smaller reflector. It also costs a lot more.

Thank you Patriot and Stereodude.. Ill check ebay..thnx....Im sure you ur right Patriot...that its better..its just to bad they had to make it that ugly green color...it looks more like a hunters light then a cool toy.

I own two Sam's Club power on board and about one hour ago I bought the N30. I totally love the Sam's Club flashlights and I carry one in my automobile and have one by my door at home. I like the 6000K, but the only draw back is the size and weight. I have wanted the N30 for about three months and the itch has not gone away. I decided to go for it and see for myself. I picked up the Sam's Club light for $50.00 on ebay and it was brand new never opened. I decided to buy a second one to place in the car. I love it and it is so freaking bright and cheap, but a little heavy and cumbersome. I pull it out to spot things while I am driving, but I thought the N30 would be a little more user friendly for that job and that is why I opted for the N30.

What is the intended use of the light?

Are you aware that all HIDs:

Take a little time to warm up and attain full brightness?

Should be left on for at least a minute every time? (Or you reduce the life of the bulb.)

Should not be turned on and off rapidly? (Something I enjoy doing with my LEDs and incandescents.)

The N30 is a nice light and I find that something smaller and lighter tends to get used more often.

N30, no question - for me anyway. The Sam's is much too big and heavy and i think you'd find yourself not using it because of that.

id say get the n30, the larger reflector is nice and the money you save is even nicer but its just way too big

but my main use for something that bright is to bring it on church retreats, so something that big will not fit in my carry on lol
