Does any one know if the one's Botach are selling for $39 are the newer version?

I just looked on their web page, and the $39 X5 is the X5T (tactical). This is the new version. A great light indeed, now my EDC.

You shouldn't be buying stuff from Botach anyway. Haven't you read about that company on here before. If not you should do a search for Botach and see what comes up.

I bought my X5T from www.nathansfirearms.com . How does $37.50 + $3.50 shipping sound? They have a couple of Black ones in stock as we speak. They'll have the silver ones shortly. Great service, too! I am in no way affiliated with Nathan's; just a very satisfied customer.
