I've got an Xeray 50w and wondered if any one else with this or another iteration has an ingenious way for stopping from switching the light on when its not in its case? I have a later press, not rocker switch.I recently had it in my boot(trunk) and found it must've switched on sometime on the trip and run right down. Apart from being lucky I didn't start a fire it was annoying as I wanted to use it :D

thanks, Ian :)

I see in the company has pic's with a rocker style switch on one of ther light's and it has a shield around the switch witch may help prevent your problem.

I have never owned or delt with them but maybe you could purchase a replacement switch and shield from them, aslong as the shield is part of the switch and not the housing(I could not tell if that was the case or not).

OH yes if you cant fix it and cant live with it just sent it my way:poke:

Thanks for the reply kabkbak7321, I think I'll put up with it for now but if it becomes too much I'll drop you a line ;)

Although mine is push switch it does have the 3 side shielding but its still fairly exposed and quite a light touch to the switch.

It mostly because I use it so much this has become an issue, I like it easy to get to so don't keep it in the case and wondered if anyone had come across this problem. I guess it would provide the same solution as those trigger locks for guns to stop you from being able to turn the thing on.
thanks, Ian :)
