I've got a similar combo, the C9000 and C801D, together they do all the single cell charging duties I could wish for.
Edit: I just thought of something useful I could add: Consider using these with a UPS - it would be annoying to get nearly through a break-in cycle with the C9000 for example, then get a brief power interruption and lose all the capacity info., then have it start charging at its default 1 amp when the power resumes. Likewise with the conditioning cycle on my C801D - but its default charge rate is 2 Amps.
