I'm a lost soul. Kept track of this thing for a couple years, never left home w/out it. Busy week, can't remember where it might be. It was an RB100 Premium.

Gotta find a replacement and can use some help. Narrowed it don to:

PD20+.
"New" P2D". Had a bad switch on the P2D and even after that the switch acted goofy once in awhile. Not a major deal, may have needed adjustment on my part. Didn't act up enough for me to worry. Low level seemed fine on the P2D. Only 123's (might be nice to use rechargeables etc). Not sure what the PD10 is about. Have a 2XAA body I got when the P2D was purchases, rarely used tho.

Quark mini 123.
Size seems cool, not so sure about the twisty. XP-G R5 has me concerned about green tint.

Quark 123 R2.
Seems like the green issue may go away using the Cree XP-E R2 vs the XP-G R5 and throw is better but being discontinued??? What is the "tactical" edition?

LiteFlux LF3XT.
Nice programmable UI I hear, not as much output tho. Cree XP-E R2 again sounds like I'll fell "warm and fuzzy" but prefer cool and clear :grin2:. Hard to decide if I want features vs functionality.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Whether its the mini or the 123 id go with the quark. I wouldnt worry about the tint either, I have owned a couple quarks and never had any green.

Does the output "knock ur socks off"?

I don't want no weak torch, I could buy an iPhone and get the flashlight app if that's the case ;~)>

I feel your pain, I lost my *old* L2P a couple weeks back. I had that thing for 3+ years. Sure I can get brighter to replace it, but I want my old buddy back :(:mecry:

I just got the PD20 and like it very much. I took it to work today for the first time and it impressed everyone who saw it. The only thing I'd caution about is that it isn't designed to work with rechargeables, from what I've read. You lose the lower levels as the rechargeables have higher voltage, it seems. Other than that, though, it's a great light! :)

Casting my vote for a Liteflux. I just got one modded with a 1C tint XP-G & there isn't a lick of green to be found.

Agree. The mini is an awesome little light, and not a hint of green in mine. Really fun, and amazingly small to hold in your hand.

If you like the Fenix UI, the PD20 and R2 Quarks are pretty great. (As for tint... of the six XP-Gs I've had, one has been greener than any Luxeon from their problem days, four have been noticeably green, and one has been perfect. I'm done with the XP-G bins that the Quarks pull from for now.)

LF3XT has a great interface.

A K2-upgraded UI-unlocked NovaTac 120E might also be in your price range. That's a killer light, though a bit bulky compared to the P2D.

Slightly off, but have you considered the new Peak El Capitan? For $55 (brass), I feel it is a great value for money, and has an XP-G emitter. My opinion is biased though, since I am very fond of brass flashlights after I looked at Peak. Reliable, robust, and niche. :)

Ordered the 123Ti R2, not that I know the difference of the R5, thanks all!
